David was a man after God's own heart — and he was also an adulterer, a deceiver, and a murderer. This sermon takes an honest, unsparing look at 2 Samuel 11-12: how a king who had everything still reached for what wasn't his, covered it up with blood, and then had the audacity to be enraged by his own sin when Nathan held up the mirror. The anger David felt against the man in Nathan's parable was the anger he could not yet turn on himself. This message asks a hard question: have you ever had that same anger kindled — and been that man or that woman?
